ISLAMABAD——Allama Iqbal Open University has extended the last date for admissions for various programmes till the 8th of November.
An official notice issued by the University said that the last date was extended to facilitate the students in getting admission for the fall semester in ADE, BEd, Associate degree programs, BBA, Diploma programmes, Postgraduate programmes, and certificate courses.
Director Admissions Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain Naqvi said that new students could also apply after submitting late fees till the 8th of November, and the present students will be enrolled till the 15th of November. He said, “The major reason behind this extension was to facilitate the students to get enrolled, who missed the opportunity for any reason. We as an institution do our best to offer quality education to a maximum number of students,” he added.
Earlier the last date of admission was the 18th of October. Admission forms and prospectus are available at the university’s website (www.aiou.edu.pk), and admission forms can be submitted online as well, according to the administration.
