WASHINGTON: Meta has said it will introduce an AI model designed to help in writing computer code, advancing its ambition into the new technology, local media reported on Thursday.
Meta to Introduce Artificial Intelligence Model for Writing Computer Codes
In a statement via social media, the Meta stated Code Llama will be available for free to help in writing computer code. Since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, businesses and enterprises have flocked to the promising generative Artificial Intelligence market for newer abilities and filtering business processes.
Instagram and Facebook owner Meta has also released AI models, mostly free, in the current year, including Llama, that poses a major challenge to models sold by Microsoft OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google.
The fresh Artificial Intelligence model is built on top of Meta’s newest Llama 2 language model and will also be available in several configurations, the firms said. Code Llama supports the coding languages like Java Python, and C++ and is not suggested for general text tasks, Meta maintained.
