ISLAMABAD: Preparatory classes for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) entry test have been announced for female students by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under Talent Hunt Program (THP).
These preparatory classes will prepare female students with weak financial backgrounds to prepare for the test to get admission to Pakistan’s top medical colleges. According to the eligibility criteria of USAID’s preparatory classes for MDCAT 2022, the female student must be a Pakistani or from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and from a low-income background.

It is compulsory for a student to have 80 percent or above marks for being eligible for USAID preparatory classes. Students who are interested in taking these preparatory classes can apply online at Higher Education Commission (HEC), and Talent Hunt Portal (THP.
The last date to apply for the classes is 22 October 2022. The candidates have been advised to avail the opportunity as soon as possible. Students who will get these classes will receive a stipend as well as a mock test after these preparatory classes.
The HEC committee will determine the eligibility of the applicants. Merit will be devised based on academic records and needs-based criteria as defined by the Talent Hunt Program (THP). Top candidates will be selected as per the available seats of USAID preparatory classes for MDCAT 2022. The Matriculation and FSc certificates of students will be reviewed before registration for classes.
