RIYADH: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has celebrated the completion of a safety and fire protection course for 152 female recruits, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, the acting director-general of Civil Defense, attended the ceremony of the female recruits at the directorate’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The recruits received training, essential skills and knowledge required for roles in the civil defence sector.
The skills they have acquired during the course enable them to work at safety and preventive supervision field centers and handle administrative missions within the directorate.
