SANAA: The Yemeni Shura Council Presidency has strongly condemned the burning of Holy Quran copies’ by Zionist soldiers, and the desecration of mosques that were not destroyed by the occupation forces in in Gaza.
The Council in its regular meeting on Sunday, chaired by Council Chairman Mohammed Hussein Al-Eidaroos, denounced the genocide war and the systematic starvation of the people of Palestine in Gaza.
The Council said that Zionists are carrying out extremist and criminal acts with the support of American administration.
The Authority asked the General Secretariat and the Community Committee to prepare and arrange for the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday celebration in a befitting manner. It urged positive interaction with the various activities to enhance the connection to the Great Messenger and introduces his jihad life.
The Authority stressed the need to pay attention to the call and stressed the activation of works of righteousness, charity, social solidarity, and interest in the martyrs families and care for the poor and needy.
It said the continued Council members participation in community activities helped solving community problems, continuing mobilization work, supporting fronts, enhancing steadfastness and resilience.

The Authority approved the Council’s annual plan, approved and submitted by the Council’s committees. They discussed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting, and the topics included in the agenda and approved them.
