How would it feel to fall from the tallest building in the world? A video clip of Dubai’s skyscraper Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, has gone viral on social media.
The video titled “POV: you’re falling from the tallest building in the world” was uploaded on the microblogging network Twitter. It has gathered almost 200,000 views in a short time.
The producers used a drone camera to record the stunt. In the breathtaking footage, the drone shoots down rapidly from the tower’s antenna, giving the viewer the impression that he is falling off the tallest building in the world. It is also a very long way down.
The footage is definitely a nightmare for people with acrophobia and vertigo.
The glorious architecture is the epitome of engineering and a tourist attraction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With 163 floors, it has stood tall at 829.8 meters since 2009.
It takes roughly one minute to reach the 124th floor of the skyscraper — going at 10 meters per second and taking up to 25 people at a time; the iconic building has one of the fastest elevators in the world.
