WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the struggle for abortion rights “isn’t over,” US media reported.

In a tweet, the US President said that today should have been the anniversary of Roe v Wade. He was referring to the original decision on abortion rights 50-year after a landmark Supreme Court decision guaranteed the right before the court reserved it in last June.
The President Biden said, “Instead, officials of MAGA Republicans are waging a war on women’s right to make their own health care decisions.” President Biden said “I haven’t stopped struggling to protect the rights of women and I never will.”
In his tweet Sunday, President Biden said that the US Congress should legislate law over the matter.
The US Apex Court’s reversal in June came following three Trump-appointed judges gave conservatives a high-court majority.
