US Pilot Who Self-Immolated Leaves Savings to Palestinian Fund for Children

WASHINGTON: In a shocking turn of events, 25-year-old American pilot Aaron Bushnell, who tragically set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington on Monday, has designated a fund dedicated to Palestinian children in his will.

According to American journalist Quill Lawrence, who revealed the details to local National Public Radio (NPR), Bushnell meticulously planned his actions and specified that his savings be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, aimed at supporting Palestinian children.

On Monday, Bushnell made his way to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, where he doused himself in gasoline before igniting the flames. Throughout the ordeal, he repeatedly shouted “Free Palestine” until his final moments, as confirmed by Washington police following his death.

The Pentagon described Bushnell’s death as a “tragedy,” shedding light on the profound impact of his actions.
