WASHINGTON: The United States on Sunday Condemned an assault on Congress, Supreme Court and Presidency in Brazil by far-right activists and supporters of former President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro.
According to AFP, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan denounced the attack on the government buildings and said that US President Joe Biden was also observing the situation in Brazil.

US Condemns Attack on Congress in Brazil
He said that Washington condemned any attempt to challenge democracy in Brazil. He tweeted that President Joe Biden is monitoring the situation very closely and their support for democratic institutions in Brazil is firm. Jake Sullivan told AFP that President Joe Biden has been briefed on the situation.
