KYIV, Ukraine: Ukrainian forces have struck another strategic bridge in Russia’s Kursk region, aiming to disrupt Moscow’s combat operations and supply routes.
The recent strike targeted a bridge over the river Seym near the village of Zvannoye, just 15 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed the attack, highlighting the ongoing efforts to weaken Russia’s logistical capabilities through precision air strikes.
An aerial video shared by Oleshchuk showed a significant rupture on the bridge, indicating the damage inflicted.
This strike follows the destruction of another bridge near Glushkovo on Friday, both critical for crossing the river Seym.
The coordinated attacks have significantly limited Russia’s options for moving troops and supplies across the region. Since launching an unprecedented cross-border assault into the Kursk region on August 6, Ukraine claims to control over 80 settlements, further intensifying the conflict in the area.
