Ukraine ‘Repels’ Russia Drone Attack at Night

Islamabad: A day after Russia launched a fresh wave of missile strikes, Ukraine said Friday it had repelled a night-time drone attack unleashed by Moscow.

Ukraine’s air force in a statement alleged that Russia had launched the attack with the help of Kamikaze drones manufactured by Iran. It added that the air defenses had successfully destroyed all 16 years. According to it, the UAVs were launched from northern and southeastern directions.

Ukraine successfully repels Russian drone attack

Ukraine’s presidency said the drones’ target was the country’s infrastructure and said that Ukraine successfully withstood the assault.

As per Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, a total of seven drones had targeted the city, two of which were shot down while they were approaching and the other five when they were over the city.

Klitschko said falling debris had damaged windows on two buildings in the southwestern part of the city.
