PESHAWAR: The Anti-Corruption Circle Peshawar, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested two individuals involved in the sale and supply of fake medicines in the provincial capital.
The detainees, identified as Khalilullah and Muhammad Asad, were involved in the illicit sale of unregistered and fake drugs, according to an FIA spokesperson.
Saadullah Khan, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Circle, said that FIA teams, in collaboration with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, were conducting joint operations to target individuals engaged in such unlawful activities.
He underscored the commitment to use all resources to curb the practice, emphasizing that no one would be allowed to play with the lives of innocent people. —APP
