ISLAMABAD: According to Turkey’s local media reports on Monday, the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) eliminated a wanted terrorist who was on its most wanted list.
Ozgur Namoglu, was Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP)’s in-charge of sabotage operations. An alias of Namoglu is Firat Neval.
Namoglu was killed in Al Hassakah region of Syria.
According to the reports, the terrorist Namoglu was specially trained by the outlawed PKK in Iraq.
Turkish Intelligence Agency eliminates terrorists trained by PKK
The reports stated that Namoglu emerged as a prominent member of the MKLP in 2008 while in Europe. Later he traveled to northern Iraq to obtain training for missions of sabotage and assassination.

In 2016, Namoglu relocated to Syria and became the in-charge of a facility to train MLKP terrorists. The trained militants would later be sent to Turkiye to carry out terrorist attacks.
