ISLAMABAD: Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, announced on Monday that the country’s exports reached an all-time high of 254.2 billion US dollar in 2022.
Citing preliminary data, he told a press conference in Istanbul, that despite global challenges the exports figure surged by 12.9 percent from a year earlier.
He said that the goal of his government was to ensure that Turkiye take its place in the list of top ten exporting countries in the world.
Erdogan highlighted that exports of Turkiye in its currency lira has reached about 350 billion liras (19 billion US dollar) in 2022.

He added that the number of countries and regions to which Turkey exports with its national currency has reached 197.
