LAHORE: Two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were arrested by the Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Multan, and another was caught in the Lahore border region on Thursday.
According to CTD officials, the terrorists were identified as Ehsan and Osama, and explosives, hand grenades, and arms were found in their possession.

The apprehended terrorists were also booked in nine other cases, and the law-enforcement agency officials launched an investigation into the matter.
The CTD statement highlighted that the combing operation was intensified in Lodhran, Okara, and Lahore on the directives of IG Punjab, which resulted in the arrest of 13 suspects and the recovery of weapons.
During these combing operations, 628 persons were biometrically verified; 1,906 suspects were interrogated.
