TEHRAN: Iran’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that his country will reject any Russian or global interference in Iran’s territorial integrity and the matter of the three islands which are in dispute Iran and the UAE.
Tehran Rejects Moscow’s Intervention in the Gulf Islands Dispute
Iranian Foreign Minister said that Iran “would never tolerate the recurrence of such a procedure in the statements and interference be it on the part of Moscow or any other sides in issues connected to the territorial integrity of Iran.”

Moscow and the GCC countries issued a joint statement in which the ministers of foreign affairs of GCC and Russia and said that they would support “all peaceful measures, including the step of the UAE and its endeavours to reach a peaceful resolution” to the dispute of the three islands Lesser Tunb, Greater Tunb, and Abu Musa ” via bilateral talks or the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in accordance with the rules of global law and the UN Charter.”
