MONTEREY PARK, CALIFORNIA: Officials say the suspect in a California club shooting that left 10 people dead has shot and killed himself.
Robert Luna Los Angeles County Sheriff said Sunday the person killed himself as police officers closed in on the vehicle the suspect used to flee the scene of an attempted second firing.
Luna identified the man at 72-year-old Huu Can Tran. The officials said that no other suspects are at large.
California Shooting
Earlier, Police said that at least ten people were killed and ten wounded in a shooting in California following the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday.
Captain Andrew Meyer, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that people were “pouring out of the site screaming” when officials arrived there.

In a press conference following the firing, Los Angeles County Sheriff confirmed that ten persons including five women and five men were killed in the shooting.
Police added that the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration has been canceled after the incident.
Monterey Park is a city of around over 60,000 people with a large number of Asians, situated about 16km from downtown Los Angeles.
