RIYADH: The Shura Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired by council member Dr. Wael Al-Idrisi, has held a meeting at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Select Committee at the United Kingdom Parliament, headed by the committee chair Alicia Kearns, as part of its official trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
According to the SPA, during the meeting, Dr. Al-Idrisi reviewed the historical ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UK and stressed the significance of strengthening these ties in all fields to achieve common interests.
They reviewed cooperative ties between the Shura Council and the UK Parliament in all sectors, as well as several topics and matters of common interest, the SPA reported.
