ISLAMABAD: Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Caretaker Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, on Saturday stressed the need to customize the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme in accordance with the unique economic contexts of the partnering countries.
During the annual meetings of the World Bank and IMF in Marrakech, the Minister participated in an important event on the theme of “Enhancing the Success of IMF-Supported Programmes.”
Drawing from her extensive financial expertise and influential role in economic affairs, Dr. Akhtar provided invaluable insights and perspectives on fostering productive partnerships between governments and international financial institutions. —APP
