RAWALPINDI: “On the night of January 4th and 5th, 2023, security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Tank District, targeting reported terrorist presence. The operation, marked by an intense exchange of fire, resulted in the elimination of two terrorists, including the High-Value Target (HVT) Gul Yousaf, also known as Toor.
Gul Yousaf had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, orchestrating high-profile attacks in Tank and DI Khan districts. His criminal activities also included extortion and the target killing of innocent civilians. Recognizing the threat he posed, the government had fixed a head bounty of PKR 2.5 Million on him.
The local populace has expressed appreciation for the security forces’ efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the area. The operation reflects the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security forces, aligned with the nation, to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
