ISLAMABAD: After the weather turned harsh in the country, the federal government has changed school timings from today (Jan 11).
According to a notification issued by the authorities concerned, the timing of the single-shift schools in the federal capital are 8:30 am-2:30pm. On Friday, the school will open from 8:30 am-12:30 pm.
Double-shift schools
At the double-shift institutions, the morning shift will begin at 8:00 am and end at 1:30 pm. The timing on Friday will be 8 am to 12.30 pm.
Similarly, the evening shift will start at 1.30 pm and end at 7:00 pm while on Friday, the evening shift will be from 2:30 pm-7:00 pm. The students have been allowed to wear sweaters or jackets of any colour in addition to the uniform due to cold weather, says the notification. The working hours are effective from today, January 11.
