ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has ordered to stop the recovery from those who burnt the temple in the Karak district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on the appeal of the minority leader.
A two-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Ijaz Ul Hassan heard the suo moto case related to the damage to the Karak Terri temple.
Terri Temple reconstruction completed
Minority leader MNA Ramesh Kumar appeared in the Supreme Court and told the court that the construction of the Karak Terri temple has been completed, the temple has also been restored and renovated, and Hindus and Muslims are now living in the area of the Karak temple with peace.
Ramesh Kumar said that the court had ordered recovery from those who damaged the temple. The provincial government has made some recoveries from those who damaged the temple, if the court deems it appropriate, this process of recovery should be stopped because those who damaged the temple have apologized.
On the plea of minority leader Ramesh Kumar, the court ordered to stop the recovery from those who damaged the temple. It may be remembered that the Supreme Court had ordered to recover Rs 3 crore 30 lacs from those who burnt down the Terri Mandir in Karak.
