Saudi Scouts Attend 43rd World Scout Conference in Cairo

CAIRO: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are taking part in the 43rd World Scout Conference, which started in Cairo on Saturday and will continue until August 23, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The international event, hosted by the Egyptian Federation for Scouts and Girl Guides, includes over 2,000 scout members from 176 countries.

The conference addresses a range of topics, including peace, youth leadership, sustainability, human rights, and informal education.

The aim of the conference is to inspire the leadership of national scout associations through important speeches and workshop sessions held during the event.

During the conference, the Saudi scouts will organize an exhibition showcasing the scouting renaissance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The Saudi delegation will also present Saudi customs and traditions on International Culture Exchange Day.

Additionally, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association will share its experiences pertaining to various conference themes during the workshop sessions.
