RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, has organized a symposium on moderation in Islam at the State Islamic Institute of Kendari in Indonesia, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The event was attended by the institute rector, faculty members and students.
Saudi Religious Attaché in Indonesia Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hazimi and faculty member at Imam Mohammad ibn Saud Islamic University Dr. Muhammad Al-Furaih during the symposium said that moderation can be achieved through adherence to the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
They emphasized the significance of rejecting extremism and misleading ideologies and factions within the religion.
