RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met with Greek Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias in Riyadh and discussed regional developments.

During the meeting, they reviewed the implications of the ongoing Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and several other countries, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

They also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the nations in the military and defence sectors.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, warned that recent Iranian attacks pose a serious and growing threat to regional security and stability.

Addressing the 43rd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council via video conference, he stressed that such actions risk escalating conflict, undermining peace efforts, and endangering both civilian populations and critical infrastructure.

The remarks come amid increasing geopolitical strain, with regional powers expressing concern over the potential for wider instability and disruption to global security.

The Interior Minister recent Iranian attacks endanger civilian lives and critical infrastructure while undermining efforts to maintain peace.

He added that these acts of aggression cannot be justified under any circumstances and represent clear violations of international conventions, posing a broader risk to global peace and security.
