TAIZ, Yemen: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 956 food baskets to displaced families in the Jabal Habashi and Al-Masrakh districts of Taiz Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 5,353 people in 956 families.
The distribution is part of the second phase of KSrelief’s emergency food intervention project in Yemen, one of the relief programs the Kingdom provides through the centre to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people amid the continuing humanitarian crisis, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
KSrelief Aid Convoy Arrives in Gaza
Meanwhile, a new humanitarian aid convoy carrying food baskets and tents provided by KSrelief arrived in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, as part of the Saudi campaign to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, SPA reported.
The aid was received by the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner in Gaza, and will provide food and shelter supplies in response to changing needs on the ground.
The convoy is part of the Kingdom’s continuing support for the Palestinian people in Gaza through KSrelief.
