RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke by phone with the Foreign Minister Colombia, Alvaro Leyva Duran, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

According to the SPA, during the call, Prince Faisal lauded Colombia’s support for the UNGA resolution issued on Friday, October 27. The UN resolution calls for an immediate truce and the establishment of an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the besieged Gaza Strip, the SPA added.

They discussed the recent developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, amid the current military escalation and the harm to innocent civilians, the SPA maintained. The two sides also emphasized the significance of the world taking responsibility for stopping all military activities and returning to a just and comprehensive path to peace for the Palestinian people to achieve world security and peace, the SPA further said.
