Saudi Arabia Transport Minister Inspects Readiness of Ecosystem in Makkah, Holy Sites, and Jeddah

MAKKAH, Saudi Arabia:  Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of Saudi Arabia, Saleh Al-Jasser inspected on Monday evening the readiness of the transport ecosystem in Makkah and Jeddah, reviewing the effectiveness of operational plans to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season 1446 AH, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Mobile service sites for pilgrims

The SPA reported that the tour included inspections of several key entities and vital sites, including the General Transport Center, mobile service sites for pilgrims along the Hijrah Road, and the Command and Control Center of MATARAT Holding.

It concluded with visits to King Abdulaziz International Airport’s Terminal 1 and the Haramain High-Speed Railway Station, the SPA reported.
