JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will organise a bootcamp as part of the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition to turn promising ideas into practical, scalable solutions to improve services for pilgrims throughout their journey.

The bootcamp offers specialised mentoring, help refining proposals, financial support, incubation opportunities, and other incentives to put the innovations into practice, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

It is one of several innovation programmes accompanying the conference, held under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and organised by the ministry with the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The conference will take place in Jeddah from November 8 to 11, with more than 520 government, private, and non-profit entities and participants from over 150 countries, according to SPA.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah invited interested entities and specialists to register at https:‏//hajjconfex.com/visitor-registration.
