Saudi Arabia Offers Condolences to Jordan over Former PM’s Demise

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saturday offered condolences to King Abdullah of Jordan on the sad demise of former Prime Minister Abdul Salam Al-Majali.

KSA offers condolences to Jordan

The Saudi Press Agency reported that King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent messages of condolences to Jordan’s King Abdullah and expressed deep sorrow over the death of the former Prime Minister.

It may be recalled that Abdul Salam Al-Majali has died on January 3, 2023.  Abdul Salam Al-Majali was a politician and medical doctor, who served twice as prime minister of the Kingdom of Jordan.

Abdul Salam Al-Majali also worked as minister of education, minister of health, president of the University of Jordan, and adviser to the late King Hussein. The former prime minister had also served as a senator and as head of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences since 2013.
