ISLAMABAD: According to Saudi Arabia’s media, recent heavy rains in the Kingdom’s Tail governate resulted in 86 car accidents.
Regarding the rains in Taif, a Twitter user posted this video:
Shadi Al Thubaiti, a Red Crescent official in Taif, said a team of the rescue organization had receive a total of 260 emergency calls in a time span of 24 hours.
Heavy rains lead to 86 car accidents
The duration represents the time after Saudi Arabia’s National Center of Meteorology issued warnings for the time regarding the current inclement weather.

Emergency calls regarding traffic accidents added up to 86.
The other 174 calls were related to emergency medical conditions including seasonal colds, diabetes and others. In these instances, emergency services were provided to the patients.
