JEDDAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Al-Ittihad FC will face Egypt’s Al Ahly in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Host team Al-Ittihad is looking for another win against the Cairo giant and to continue shining in the Jeddah-hosted mega event after its 3-0 victory over New Zealand’s Auckland City in the first match, which saw high energy in the air over 50,000 fans filled the stadium’s seats, the highest ever in the history of the prestigious world’s tournament, the SPA maintained.

The winner of today’s match between Al Ahly and Al-Ittihad will face Brazil’s Fluminense, which is taking part for the first time in the FIFA Club World Cup.
