AMMAN: The Saudi Community Service Centre, affiliated with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has completed its 36th training and educational programme for Syrian refugees at the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan.

Held from January 1 to March 31, 2026, the programme welcomed 255 participants who took part in courses spanning various crafts and practical skills, including sewing, embroidery, drawing, and culinary arts.

In addition, the programme provided tutoring for students from primary to secondary levels, as well as literacy classes, Quranic studies, Islamic etiquette, and English language lessons.

Meanwhile, KSrelief has initiated a project to rehabilitate a school and social facilities in Arbin, located in Syria’s Rif Dimashq governorate.

The project involves reconstructing and equipping the damaged section of a girls’ vocational secondary school, creating a safe and comprehensive learning environment.

The programme aims to empower female students with both academic knowledge and practical, career-oriented skills, benefiting approximately 300 students.

In addition, the project includes the renovation of social facilities in the city, which will serve around 1,600 residents, further supporting community development and well-being.

These initiatives are part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts, delivered through KSrelief, aimed at educating and empowering Syrian refugees.
