ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday deeply regretted the loss of life and leveling of buildings due to a powerful earthquake that rocked Syria and Türkiye on Sunday night.
In a statement, Sanjrani expressed his condolences and ensured to do everything possible” to help the Syrian and Turkish brothers in this hour of trouble.
Sanjrani advises endurance
He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and for elevating the ranks of the quake victims. The brave people of Syria and Türkiye will face this tragedy with their endurance and traditional determination.
He added that the Türkiye has always supported Pakistan in every difficulty. “The prayers of the Pakistani nation are with the brave Syrian and Turkish people and government,” he noted.
Senate Deputy Chairman Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Leader of the House Ishaq Dar, and leader of the opposition in the Senate Dr. Shahzad Waseem also expressed their solidarity with the people of Türkiye and Syria after a devastating earthquake caused losses of life and property.
