ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday stressed the need for unity amongst Muslim states and keeping differences aside to tackle Islamophobia.
Ambassador of Tunisia Borhene El Kamel called on him here in Islamabad. Both the dignitaries discussed the matters of bilateral relations, mutual interest and Islamophobia around the world.
Sanjrani said that Islamophobia was a serious issue and all Muslim countries, irrespective of their differences, should be united and come forward to tackle it successfully.
On the occasion, the Tunisian Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability and pledged to play his role in further improvement of diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels. He also hailed Pakistan’s efforts against Islamophobia, saying it was doing great efforts in this sacred cause.
