KYIV: A Russian strike on a humanitarian support center in an eastern Ukraine town killed three people, the emergency service said Friday, revising their previous toll of 5 dead.
It said that the town of Kostyantynivka was hit by rocket fire during the night of 24 March. One of the rockets targeted a single-storey building.
It said that three people died, and two others were injured due to the incident.
The emergency service published photos of a building with its roof damaged and debris all around.
The emergency service said the victims included three internally displaced women from Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, and Opytne.
Kostyantynivka, eastern Ukraine
Kostyantynivka is about 25 kilometers west of Bakhmut, an industrial city that has seen the bloodiest and longest battle of the Russian invasion.
