MOSCOW: The Kremlin on Monday said that the tanks the United Kingdom (UK) plan to send to Ukraine “will burn.”
The UK said on Saturday it would send 14 of its Challenger 2 critical battle tanks and other advanced artillery support in the coming weeks to Ukraine.
“They are using Ukraine as a tool to achieve their anti-Russian ambitions,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement.
UK tanks to burn like others
“These tanks are burning and no doubt will burn just like the rest of the tanks,” Mr Peskov said.
The spokesman said the new supplies from countries like Poland and Britain would stay in the same situation on the ground.
