ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan rupee gained 96 paisas against the dollar in interbank trading on Thursday, closing at Rs260.93, up from Rs261.89 the previous day.
Price of Euro fell by 2.05 Rupee
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the open market buying and selling rates for dollars were Rs266.8 and Rs269.5, respectively. As per the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of Euro fell by Rs2.05 and closed at Rs277, down from Rs279.05 the previous day (SBP).
The Japanese Yen fell one paisa to close at Rs1.93, while the British Pound fell Rs2.27 to close at Rs314.70, down from its previous day’s close of Rs316.97. The UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal exchange rates fell by 26 paisas each to close at Rs71.04 and Rs69.55, respectively.
