ISLAMABAD/BUCHAREST: Daria Gusa says that she received a private message on Instagram from high-profile influencer Andrew Tate when she was 16 years old and still enrolled in school, while Andrew Tate was over 20 years senior to her.

Daria Gusa stated that the message read, ‘Romanian girl,’ with some flirting emoji; she was perplexed because she had 200 followers and it was a private account. It was clear that these were teenage girls. They even listed their high school in our bio. According to Daria, he was looking for women who were as naive or innocent as possible.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan

She is one of two teens who spoke about how Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan contacted them online, allegedly following a predetermined strategy.

Being the daughter of a well-known Romanian politician, Daria, who is currently enrolled in university in the UK, feels empowered to speak out in public. In contrast, others have declined to be interviewed. The Tate brothers are detained in Romania for 30 days as police look into rape and trafficking claims, which both men deny. Andrew Tate appears to advise how to approach women on social media in a video shared online.

Who is Andrew Tate?

Tate, the former kickboxer, gained national attention in 2016 after being kicked off the British television programme Big Brother. His videos, which portray a lifestyle filled with fast cars, stunning women, and exotic locations, have received billions of views on social media.

Tate has been blocked from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok due to his offensive comments, especially about women.

In promoting his online classes on controlling and taking advantage of women, Andrew Tate said: “I’ve had a webcam studio for more than ten years. At the time, I had over 50% of my employees who were my girlfriends, and NONE of them had worked in the adult entertainment industry before meeting me.”

He described his job as “to meet a girl, go on a couple of dates with her, sleeps with her… The advertisement adds, “get her to fall in love with me to the point where she would do anything I asked, and then get her on webcam so we could both become rich.”

He had vowed never to date a woman older than 25.

Gabriela

Gabriela, which is not her real name, was 17 when Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan contacted her on social media, however, she later pretended to be 19.

As per Gabriela, he invited her to a party in his car, but she turned them down.

Screenshots of their chat show that it quickly ended after she shared a video about him online.

“Important people will never want to write you if they see you do stuff like this. Just a friendly warning,” one of his last messages says.

The Tate brothers contacting and inviting females online who are 16 or 17 is not against the law.

However, Andrew Tate’s online comments and these young women’s testimony point to a pre-planned method of interaction. The screenshots back up these women’s statements. The messages come from accounts whose usernames match those used by Andrew and Tristan Tate before he was banned from the application.

Even while he is in custody, Andrew Tate’s social media accounts have continued to post updates. He posted on Thursday that five people had been approved to see him. At the same time, he was being held, including Adin Ross, a 22-year-old American influencer with millions of followers, who claimed to be traveling to Romania on Thursday.

The Tate brothers have not yet been charged with anything. In a little more than a week, their 30-day jail period will end. The accusations against them remain unverified, and any proof against them is kept – for the time being – from public view, despite all the confessional videos and commentary on their personal lives.
