Riyadh Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Somalia

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday strongly condemned terrorist attacks in central Somalia, which killed and wounded dozens of people on Wednesday.

The capital affirmed the Kingdom’s stance with “Somalia and its people against all types of terrorism and violence, reiterating its complete rejection of all criminal acts that hit innocent people and attempt to undermine stability and security in the African country.”

The Saudi ministry of foreign affairs expressed Riyadh’s sincere sympathy and condolences to the relatives of the victims and wished the wounded an early recovery.

Earlier, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain also condemned the attacks in Somalia.

As many as 35 people were killed in suicide car bombings in Somalia on Wednesday.
