RIYADH: Riyadh Air, the new Saudi Arabian airline, unveiled its first liveried aircraft during a flight over Riyadh on Monday, ahead of its public debut at the 54th Paris Air Show on June 19.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner adorned with a modern and eye-catching livery was revealed at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh. The historic moment and ceremony were attended by high-ranking officials and dignitaries.

Flying at a low altitude, the aircraft gracefully passed over several iconic landmarks in the Riyadh skyline, including KAFD, Boulevard city, and the city’s distinctive main towers.

The aircraft will make its public debut at the 54th Paris Air Show on June 19, marking Riyadh Air’s first introduction to a global audience.

The new airline aims to revolutionize the travel industry by offering a superior level of guest experience and cutting-edge technology, paving the way for the future of air travel.

Brand Identity of Riyadh Air

The brand identity of Riyadh Air reflects Saudi Arabia’s modern and forward-thinking approach. Inspired by the Kingdom’s warm hospitality and the vibrant lavender colors that carpet the desert in spring, the captivating livery sets the stage for Riyadh Air’s continued innovation in aviation.

The design incorporates visual references to the Kingdom and the city, featuring elegant curves reminiscent of Arabic script, accompanied by the global campaign tagline “The Future Takes Flight.”

With its strategic location in the capital city, Riyadh Air will provide connectivity to over 100 destinations worldwide, with more than 60 percent of the global population within an eight-hour flight radius.

During the 79th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) earlier this month, the airline announced that it had obtained the airline designator code “RX.”
