ISLAMABAD: The water level in Rawal Dam has reached the maximum level forcing management to open spillways on Tuesday, August 29th.
The spillways will be opened from 6am to 9am as the water level has reached a level of 1751.50 feet. And will
ICT Spokesman said that the opening hours of the spillways would be adjusted according to the rain conditions.
The Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon has directed all concerned departments to be on high alert.

All response units and relief camps will monitor the situation while the police will also be deployed on the sides of Korang River.
Authorities would take strict action against those who enter the Kurang River and violate Section 144 which is already in place.
Rawalpindi administration has been taken on board to handle any untoward situation.
