LAHORE: Punjab Govt’s Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has finalized the schedule for the matriculation exam for the academic year 2022-2023 for all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs).
As per details, the decision was taken during a recent meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) in which Heads of all Punjab’s boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) were present. The annual exams of classes 9 and 10 will start on 8 April 2023. This year, annual exams of 9th and 10th classes were held after a delay of a few months under all Intermediate and Secondary Education Boards. Exams of class 10 were conducted in May and while exams of class 9 were held in May/June.
Annual exams for class 9 started on May 26 and ended on June 10, while the result of class 9 was announced on September 19. On the other hand, the annual exams of class 10 started on May 10 and ended on May 25, while results were announced on August 31.
In another development, the Punjab govt announced the winter vacation schedule officially for all public and private schools in the province.
Punjab Govt announces winter vacations from 24th
Regarding this matter, Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) notified that all private and public schools in Punjab would observe winter vacations from 24 December 2022 to 31 December 2022. As per the official announcement, schools will reopen on 2 January 2023.
