PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers blocked roads in 139 spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, an officer of the Police Control said on Thursday.
He said that 659 people were arrested during various police operations and that 15 properties, including 13 government buildings in the province, were set on fire during the protest, including the historic Radio Pakistan Peshawar and the Associated Press of Pakistan Peshawar Bureau.

He said that the protesters set fire to 17 government and private vehicles, including 12 official vehicles, in various parts of the province. The official stated that the items were stolen from Radio Pakistan Peshawar, the Associated Press Peshawar Bureau, the Nadra Mega Centre, police stations, and several other buildings and shops.
According to the official, more than 300 people suffered injuries in the PTI rallies, including 58 police officers. He said that seven protesters have been killed following clashes with police.
