KYIV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday that his troops are moving towards victory. He issued the statement via his social media account after his visit to Washington.
He posted a video on his social media account that he is in his office in Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he will overcome all issues.

Zelenskyy told Ukrainian ambassadors that US Congress will approve another 45 billion US dollars financial package for his country’s security. He added that strategic agreements between Kyiv and Washington will enhance the country’s defense forces in the next year.

President Zelenskyy also thanked the Netherlands for announcing up to 2.65 billion US dollars for military equipment and reconstruction of important infrastructure. The Ukrainian President’s return comes amid intense Russian airstrikes in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said the war will conclude at the table once the special military operation achieves the targets that Russia has set. He added that an important headway has been made to demilitarize Ukraine.
