ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday paid rich tribute to martyrs of Pakistan the police force and said the martyred police personnel had offered valuable sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
In his statement on the occasion of ‘Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police’, President Zardari acknowledged the bravery of the police personnel who have laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism.
President Zardari extolled the unmatched courage demonstrated by the fallen officers, emphasizing that their sacrifices have been instrumental in the fight against terrorism and criminal elements.
“The entire nation is proud of its valiant police force for their sacrifices. The police personnel have laid down their lives while fighting on the front line with terrorists and criminal elements,” said President Zardari in a press release from the President Secretariat Press Wing.
President Zardari highlighted the critical role the police force has played in maintaining peace and security across the country. He praised the bravery of the officers who have faced extreme peril and continued to stand firm in the face of adversity.
“Jawans of the police force have been sacrificing their lives while confronting terrorists and anti-social elements in various parts of the country,” the President noted.
On behalf of the entire nation, President Zardari extended his salute to the martyrs of the police force, acknowledging their supreme sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the cause of national security.
