KOT ADDU: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said his party’s commitment to “vote power” as opposed to relying on other forces setting the PPP apart from other political entities.
Launching the crucial phase of his election campaign in Punjab, the largest province in Pakistan, Bilawal addressed a public gathering in Kot Addu ahead of the nationwide polls scheduled for February 8.
During his speech, Bilawal pledged that if the PPP came to power, it would be a “sigh of relief” for the common man and a source of “pain” for the elites. He said that, unlike other parties, the PPP believes solely in the power of votes and does not rely on other forces.
Bilawal criticized other parties, alleging that they represent the interests of the elite, providing relief to the wealthy while causing pain to the poor. He promised that the PPP if elected, would demonstrate its commitment to the common people by delivering relief and addressing public issues.
