ISLAMABAD: The Polish prime minister said on Friday that they will send 60 additional battle tanks to Kyiv.
Poland has angled itself as one of Kyiv’s main allies in its war with Moscow and had announced to provide 12 German-made Leopard tanks after lobbying Germany to permit other countries to do so.

Speaking to Canadian TV, Poland’s prime minister said: “Poland sent 250 battle tanks as the first nation half a year ago.
The prime minister added that currently, they are ready to provide 60 tanks and other equipment.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Poland for its announcement on social media, saying: “Together we will win!”
Earlier, Canada announced that it will send 4 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, while Spain says they are also considering the move.
Polish deputy minister for defense Marcin Ociepa said that it would take 90 days before the battle tanks reached Ukraine.
