PML-N, PPP to Hold Next Round of Talks on Formation of Government Likely Today

ISLAMABAD:  The coordination committees of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party to conduct its third consultation session today (Friday) to finalize suggestions after consulting with their respective political leadership, local media reported.

According to social media account of PPP, on Thursday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was briefed by members of the party’s Contact and Coordination Committee about contacts with political parties at Zardari House. The meeting was attended by Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani and other leaders.
Efforts for formation of the government has reached to its peak in Pakistan after February 8 elections.

PML-N has nominated Shehbaz Sharif for the position of Prime Minister while PTI picked Omar Ayub as a candidate for the slot of PM.  PPP leader and former President Asif Ali Zardari announced to support PML-N candidate for the slot of the country’s PM.

Reports said that the coordination committees of PML-N and PPP will hold talks on formation of government in the center and provinces.
