ISLAMABAD: One of the most famous Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises. Peshawar Zalmi unveiled three kits for the eighth edition of PSL that will start from February 13 in Multan.
Accordingly, the franchise revealed the kit videos on Tuesday in collaboration with Gym Armour and Red Bull showcasing the batting superstar Babar Azam who has recently joined Zalmi as skipper of the side.
Commenting over the kit, Chief Commercial Officer Peshawar Zalmi Nausherwan Affandi said via a press release that the kit video was inspired by the modern day advanced nature of the franchise, forming a mix of music, sports and fashion.

Affandi further said that the front piece of the jersey displays a mandarin collar in black, and a uniquely woven and embedded intricate geometric pattern in hues of lemon yellow, representing the connection Peshawar Zalmi holds with its fanbase.
He added that the bold yet minimalistic design reflected the contemporary design philosophy practiced by Peshawar Zalmi, adding that a bossy addition to the jersey is the badge of authenticity, the sign crafted in velvet holds the franchise logo embedded into it with a sheen that adds to the symbol of authenticity.
He further said that the training kit for the franchise was also modified with some changes and had a combo of dark values in indigo accompanied by vibrant chroma of crimson and tangerine. Moreover, the kit is an ode to the ‘City of Flowers’ (Peshawar) and the warm color palette represented its people.
Meanwhile, the alternate kit for PSL season 8 for the Zalmi has a classic, timeless, and elegant amalgamation of darker values of black and gold, and featuring the horns of markhor, the national animal of Pakistan, and the mascot for Peshawar Zalmi.
